CoRIDE Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, registering for, downloading, or using the CoRi website, mobile application, waitlist, or any related services (collectively, the “Platform”), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Notice.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

CoRIDE provides a digital technology platform offering AI-driven route matching, batching, personalization, virtual hub functionality, and ride-assistance features.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, CoRIDE does not itself provide transportation services. Physical transportation, where available, is provided by independent licensed third-party transport providers.

3. User Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old, or the minimum age required by applicable law and our account rules, to create and maintain an account.
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account or using the Platform.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and all activity that occurs under your account.
• Professional Tier or restricted-access services may require valid employer, university, or identity verification.

4. Use of the Platform

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or unauthorized purpose.
• Misrepresent your identity, eligibility, employer, or institutional affiliation.
• Interfere with platform security, tracking systems, compliance integrations, or account protections.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, extract, copy, resell, or commercially exploit Platform data, AI logic, routing outputs, or software without written permission.
• Upload malicious code, misuse system access, or disrupt the operation of the Platform.

5. Payments and Cancellations

• Where paid services are offered, prices and applicable charges will be presented before confirmation.
• Payments are processed via secure third-party payment processors.
• Fares may reflect batching, route optimization, distance, timing, service tier, taxes, and other disclosed pricing factors.
• Cancellation fees, no-show charges, or similar fees may apply after a vehicle or service resource has been dispatched or committed.

6. Third-Party Providers

The Platform may connect users with licensed or authorized third-party providers. These providers are independent entities and may operate under their own contractual, insurance, operational, and regulatory obligations.

CoRIDE does not guarantee the conduct, availability, punctuality, safety, or quality of third-party providers except where required by law.

7. Verification, Compliance, and Safety

Certain features may require identity verification, eligibility confirmation, or compliance-related screening. You agree to provide truthful and complete information in connection with those processes.

CoRIDE may suspend or restrict access where necessary to protect users, maintain regulatory compliance, support lawful transport oversight, or preserve platform safety and integrity.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, interfaces, graphics, text, software, routing workflows, batching methods, and AI-driven logic associated with the Platform are owned by or licensed to CoRIDE and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Your use of the Platform does not transfer any ownership rights to you.

9. Platform Availability

We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue any feature, service, corridor, workflow, or access model at any time, subject to applicable law.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or compatibility with every device, operating system, or network environment.

10. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no guarantee that every route recommendation, batching result, timing estimate, or service output will always be complete, accurate, optimal, or uninterrupted.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CoRIDE shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages, including loss of profits, loss of business, loss of data, or reputational harm arising from or related to use of the Platform.

CoRIDE is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or negligence of independent third-party transport providers, including incidents involving physical rides, delays, service quality, injury, death, or property damage, except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CoRIDE, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law or third-party rights.

13. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Platform where we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, created security or compliance risk, engaged in unlawful conduct, or exposed the Platform or its users to harm.

14. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Notice, which describes how personal data is collected, used, disclosed, protected, and retained. By using the Platform, you acknowledge that your information may be processed accordingly.

15. Mandatory Acceptance Checkbox

During sign-up, onboarding, or waitlist submission, CoRIDE requires users to actively confirm acceptance of these Terms of Use and the Privacy Notice through a required checkbox as shown below:

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

17. Jurisdiction

Subject to any mandatory dispute resolution requirements, the competent courts of Abu Dhabi shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Platform.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time by publishing an updated version on this page. Continued use of the Platform after the updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
